Ker Gibbs has lived in Asia for most of the last 30 years. He was an investment banker with HSBC, then later served as the president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. In that role he worked closely with ambassadors and other officials from the Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations, as well as Chinese government officials. He lectures at the University of San Francisco on international business and geopolitics.
